'Mayor of Kingstown' Final Season to Premiere January 15, 2027: Jeremy Renner Series Sets End Date

Paramount+ announced on October 20 that the fifth season of the Jeremy Renner crime drama "Mayor of Kingstown" will premiere on January 15, 2027. The fifth season will also be the show's final season and will run for eight episodes. Paramount+ released a first set of images from the new season alongside the announcement.
According to the official synopsis, in the wake of Tracy's murder and the vengeance visited upon Callahan by Mike (Renner) and his brother Kyle (Taylor Handley), FBI agent Russell Hardy (David Morse) arrives in Kingstown searching for the fugitive Callahan. A true lawman, Agent Hardy threatens to unearth all of Mike's sins and secrets and disrupt Kingstown's tenuous balance of power.
The final season also stars Edie Falco, Laura Benanti, co-creator Hugh Dillon, Taylor Handley, Tobi Bamtefa, Derek Webster, Necar Zadegan, Nichole Galicia and Lennie James. The series was co-created by Taylor Sheridan and Hugh Dillon, with Dave Erickson serving as showrunner, and is produced by Paramount Television Studios, 101 Studios and Bosque Ranch Productions. Paramount+ announced earlier this year that season five would conclude the series.
