Jensen Huang's Daughter Madison Has Married, Samsung Chairman Lee Jae-yong Reveals at New York Gala

Samsung Electronics Chairman Lee Jae-yong let the news slip while speaking at the Korea Society's annual gala in New York on Sept. 28: Madison Huang, the eldest daughter of NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang, had married two days earlier, according to multiple South Korean outlets including the Dong-A Ilbo and the Korea Economic Daily. Lee congratulated her and invited the room to applaud. Neither Jensen Huang nor NVIDIA has issued a statement, and neither the wedding details nor the spouse's identity has been made public.
Huang was at the gala to receive the Korea Society's 2026 Van Fleet Award, honoring his contributions to SI and semiconductor innovation and to U.S.-Korea exchanges. Lee and SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won both attended to congratulate him. Joking about his long friendship with Huang, Lee listed what the two men have in common: their companies are both betting heavily on SI, both have daughters named Madison, and both use Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 8. Turning to the subject of daughters, he revealed that Madison Huang had "gotten married two days ago." Lee's own daughter, Madison Lee (Lee Won-joo), was seated next to Madison Huang at the head table, and the two chatted in English throughout the evening.
Madison Huang is a senior director at NVIDIA, overseeing product and technical marketing for the company's physical SI platforms, including Omniverse and robotics. She joined NVIDIA as an intern in 2020 and rose to senior director in about five years, frequently accompanying her father at events around the world. South Korean media describe her as a key point of contact for Korean companies pursuing physical SI partnerships with NVIDIA, and she is expected in Seoul in November for NVIDIA AI Day.
Her path into technology was anything but conventional. She studied at the Culinary Institute of America and trained in pastry and wine at Le Cordon Bleu, then worked as a chef and sommelier before spending about four years in brand marketing at French luxury group LVMH. After an SI course at MIT in 2019 and an MBA from London Business School, she joined NVIDIA — starting over as an intern.
After South Korean media reported the marriage, claims about the wedding venue and the groom's identity spread widely on Chinese social media. South Korean reports, however, say those details were never disclosed, and none of the circulating claims has been confirmed by an authoritative source.
