SIX on Broadway: Abigail Barlow Returns as Katherine Howard on November 1
Broadway Direct, the official ticket seller for the Broadway musical SIX, announced on October 19 that Grammy winner Abigail Barlow will return to the Lena Horne Theatre in New York on November 1 to reprise the role of Katherine Howard. Aimie Atkinson, the current Howard, will play her final performance on October 31.
Barlow has a history with the role: she played Katherine Howard in the Broadway production from February 16 to August 16 of this year, making this her second tenure in the same part within one calendar year. With her creative partner Emily Bear, she forms Barlow & Bear, the duo behind the Grammy-winning Unofficial Bridgerton Musical Album and songs for Disney's Moana 2.
SIX retells the stories of the six wives of Henry VIII. The current company also includes Najah Hetsberger as Catherine of Aragon, Chloe Tucker Caine as Anne Boleyn, Natalie Paris as Jane Seymour, Olivia Donalson as Anna of Cleves and Stephanie Jae Park as Catherine Parr. The production has previously announced its final Broadway performance for January 3, 2027, placing Barlow's return inside the run's closing stretch.
