The Pet Supermarket Foundation announced on October 20, via Business Wire, that its 2026 charitable giving has surpassed $300,000, benefiting more than 50 animal welfare organizations across the United States.

Among this year's grants, $60,000 went to Florida-based Dogs Inc to support the breeding and training of service dogs and guide dogs; cumulative giving from Pet Supermarket to Dogs Inc now exceeds $1 million. Another $40,000 was granted through the foundation's Lend a Paw program, which is funded by customer donations at Pet Supermarket stores, to the US War Dogs Association in support of retired military working dogs. Nine local animal shelters across the country also received $10,000 each.

The Pet Supermarket Foundation is the charitable foundation of the Pet Supermarket retail chain. Dogs Inc, based in Florida, breeds and trains service and guide dogs for people with disabilities and for veterans, while the US War Dogs Association supports retired military dogs and their handlers.
