Melbourne Man Sentenced to 10 Years for Meth Trafficking Conspiracy Supplying Panama City Area

The U.S. Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Florida announced that Johnny L. Robinson, 34, of Melbourne, Florida, was sentenced to 10 years in federal prison after previously pleading guilty to conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine.
Court documents reflect that, beginning in January 2024, Robinson provided co-conspirators with methamphetamine on at least three occasions. Those co-conspirators then transported the methamphetamine into the Northern District of Florida and distributed it in the Panama City area. At the time he provided the methamphetamine, Robinson was aware it would be distributed and agreed the weight was at least 50 grams. In total, Robinson and his co-conspirators conspired to distribute almost 500 grams of methamphetamine.
The case was a joint investigation by the Drug Enforcement Administration, the U.S. Postal Inspection Service and the Bay County Sheriff's Office, and is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Eric W. Welch. It is part of Operation Take Back America. U.S. Attorney John P. Heekin said his office will continue to aggressively prosecute drug traffickers.
