The White House on October 20 released a North Carolina fact sheet compiling the administration's figures for the state on tax cuts, manufacturing investment, disaster recovery and public safety. The release came the same day as President Trump's trip to the state: under the White House schedule, Trump was set to deliver remarks at 7 p.m. at Pitt-Greenville Airport in Greenville, North Carolina.

On taxes and household costs, the White House said the Working Families Tax Cuts safeguarded 184,000 North Carolina jobs, $33 billion in state economic activity and $17 billion in workers' wages; that the average state taxpayer's 2026 refund is $3,542; that Social Security income is tax-free for 1.9 million seniors; and that federal rural health funding is putting $213 million into the state in its first year.

On manufacturing, the White House listed 13 announced investments: Amazon is investing $10 billion to expand cloud computing and SI infrastructure in Richmond County, creating at least 500 jobs; JetZero is investing $4.7 billion to build a commercial airplane factory in Greensboro, creating about 14,560 jobs, the largest job announcement in state history; Johnson & Johnson, Genentech and Biogen are each investing $2 billion; AbbVie is investing $1.4 billion in Durham; Merck, Vaxcyte and Prysmian are each investing $1 billion, with Prysmian expanding in Catawba County and creating 385 jobs; US Forged Rings is investing $875 million in Hertford County, creating 625 jobs; Novartis is investing $771 million; Steris is investing $600 million in Sanford, creating 335 jobs; and Coinbase is opening a new office in Charlotte with more than 130 jobs. The White House also said Section 232 tariffs - 25% on upholstered wooden furniture and on kitchen cabinets and vanities, and 10% on softwood lumber - benefit the state's furniture industry, with the furniture and cabinet rates set to rise to 30% and 50% before January 1, 2027.

On public safety, the White House said that in the first half of 2026, compared with the same period in 2025, murders statewide fell 12.4%, robberies 17.7%, motor vehicle theft 22.6% and aggravated assault 3.1%; in Charlotte, violent crime fell 8%, robberies 23% and vehicle theft 31%; and homicides in Raleigh fell 33% in the second quarter.

On military and disaster matters, the White House said Fort Bragg, the Army post in North Carolina restored to its original name in February 2025, is home to more than 52,000 troops; and that after Hurricane Helene, the Department of Transportation provided nearly $2 billion in emergency highway relief to the state and the Department of Housing and Urban Development provided $1.4 billion in disaster recovery block grant funding. The release also listed immigration enforcement cases in Laurinburg, Raleigh, Castle Hayne and Charlotte.
