After Gov. Kelly Ayotte's Letter to X, New Hampshire Libertarian Party Account Is Suspended

New Hampshire Gov. Kelly Ayotte has written to X's head of safety, Michael O'Herlihy, asking the platform to act on posts by the state's Libertarian Party account. X subsequently suspended the New Hampshire Libertarian Party's account.
The dispute stems from a post by the account this September. In her letter, Ayotte called the content inappropriate and pointed to a 2024 post by the account targeting then-Vice President Kamala Harris, urging the platform to act.
The suspended account claims about 10,000 members and is recognized by the national party as its Granite State faction. Libertarian Party figures criticized the suspension. X has not publicly stated the specific basis for the action. (GSM, based on reporting by The Center Square)
