Oregon's 'Explore Health' Shopping Guide Launches Ahead of 2027 Move to a State Marketplace Platform
The Oregon Health Insurance Marketplace has launched an online shopping guide called Explore Health to help residents compare and shop for health insurance plans. The guide runs on Vimo's GetInsured platform.
Oregon plans to leave the federal HealthCare.gov platform and operate its marketplace on a state platform starting in 2027, and Explore Health is part of that transition. This year's open enrollment period begins Nov. 1.
Chiqui Flowers, director of the Oregon Health Insurance Marketplace, said the new guide will make it easier for residents to see plan prices and coverage and to choose during the enrollment window. (GSM, based on reporting by GlobeNewswire)
