L3Harris Arsenal of Freedom Solid Rocket Motor Facility Opens in Camden, Will Support Army Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System Production

A ribbon cutting was held on October 21 in Camden, Arkansas, for L3Harris's new Arsenal of Freedom solid rocket motor production facility. U.S. Senators Tom Cotton and John Boozman joined state and local leaders to open the facility. The new facility, along with additional propellant processing facilities, will support production for the U.S. Army's Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System (GMLRS).
In a statement, Cotton said L3Harris's new solid rocket motor production facility in Camden is a welcome investment that further proves Arkansas is the defense capital of America. He said the company's ongoing expansion will bring new jobs to the region while also producing the tools needed to keep the country safe, and that he was proud to have worked with the congressional delegation, Governor Sanders and the U.S. Army to help bring the project to the state, and pleased to see it come to fruition.
