Former Vice President Harris Endorses Warmington for New Hampshire Governor

In Manchester, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, the campaign of Democratic gubernatorial candidate Cinde Warmington announced on October 20 that former Vice President Kamala Harris has endorsed Warmington for governor of New Hampshire. Warmington will challenge incumbent Republican Governor Kelly Ayotte in the general election on November 3. Warmington is a lawyer and a former member of the New Hampshire Executive Council. Several prominent national Democrats have visited New Hampshire recently: California Governor Gavin Newsom appeared with Warmington in Exeter, and former Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg and Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear have also campaigned in the state for Democratic candidates; Harris is also expected to visit the state, according to reports. On fundraising, Warmington has raised approximately $1.37 million, compared with more than $8.5 million for Ayotte. Polls show Ayotte leading.
