Florida Attorney Arrested in Mississippi After Allegedly Threatening to Kill ICE Agents at Gun Store

Wednesday, October 21, 2026 · Federal · GSM News

Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) in Gulfport, Mississippi, announced that agents have arrested Lisa C. White, who is charged with threatening a federal law enforcement officer and is being held without bond.

According to the criminal complaint, on September 23 White entered High Caliber Guns in Long Beach, Mississippi, and said, "I need a gun." The complaint alleges she identified herself as an activist and protester, said she needed a firearm and pepper spray because "ICE agents are becoming crazy and wild," asked whether firearms could penetrate body armor, and said that if they could not, she would "hit them in the head, shoulder, arm or leg." An employee declined to sell her any weapons. The incident was reported through the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives to HSI, whose agents investigated and took White into custody.

White is a licensed attorney who has been a member of the Florida Bar since 1995. HSI Gulfport Assistant Special Agent in Charge Matthew Reidell said HSI takes any threat against federal law enforcement officers with the utmost seriousness and commended the citizens who reported the threats, allowing agents to intervene swiftly. ICE says assaults, vehicle attacks and death threats against its officers have risen sharply. The allegations are contained in a criminal complaint; guilt will be determined by the court.
