Irvine Closes All City Ball Fields Due to Weather on Oct. 21; Check Muddline for the Latest
The City of Irvine, in Orange County, California, issued an update through its Muddline field-conditions service on October 21: due to the weather, all city ball fields were closed for the day, and league games, practices and activities on the fields were suspended accordingly.
Muddline is the City of Irvine's field-status notification service, which posts daily updates on field openings and closures in wet weather. Residents and teams can check the latest status on the city's website at cityofirvine.org/mudd, call the hotline at 949-724-6833, or follow its X account @irvine_muddline and email updates at [email protected].
The city says reopening will depend on weather and field conditions, and asks the public to rely on the latest Muddline update; individual leagues and teams will notify participants of any rescheduling.
