Wednesday, October 21, 2026 · States · GSM News

The University of Delaware Fightin' Blue Hens beat the Missouri State Bears 61-38 on the night of October 20 at Delaware Stadium in Newark, their first conference win since moving up to Conference USA. In the first meeting between the schools, Delaware trailed 28-24 at halftime before taking over: the Blue Hens never punted, scored on eight straight possessions at one point and put up 37 second-half points; the 61 points were the most Missouri State has allowed to a conference opponent since 2017.

Quarterback Nick Minicucci, back as the starter after missing two games with a knee injury — his previous start was September 26 against Virginia, and he was the league's preseason offensive player of the year — threw touchdown passes including a 26-yarder to tight end Scott Moore and a 6-yarder to wide receiver Bryson Graves, and converted several key fourth-down plays. Missouri State receiver Isaiah Myers caught 11 passes for a career-high 242 yards and two touchdowns in the loss.

Delaware improves to 3-4 overall and 1-2 in the conference; Missouri State falls to 2-5.
