University of Nevada Opens $28 Million Indoor Training Facility; New Wolf Mark Debuts on Helmets Saturday

The University of Nevada has unveiled a $28 million indoor training facility for Wolf Pack athletics. Construction began in August 2025 and is to finish in mid-November; the project is funded in part by a $3.50-per-credit student fee.

Athletics director Stephanie Rempe said the building gives Nevada's teams year-round training space the program has long lacked. The design, by R&R Partners, went through more than 30 drafts and was drawn by hand rather than generated by SI.

A new "Nevada Wolf" mark will appear on football helmets for the first time at Saturday's 2 p.m. homecoming game against San Jose State.

The facility serves multiple sports and anchors the department's current round of capital improvements.
