SendCutSend to Build $63.2 Million Plant in Luzerne County, Creating 309 Jobs Over Three Years

SendCutSend will invest $63.2 million in a new manufacturing plant at 535 Research Drive in Pittston, Luzerne County — a facility of about 200,000 square feet — creating 309 jobs over three years, state officials announced. Pennsylvania is contributing $3 million, and the project won out over a competing Ohio site.
Governor Josh Shapiro's administration counts $43 billion in private investment and 29,000 jobs announced during his tenure. SendCutSend CEO Jim Belosic said the Northeast location will let the on-demand sheet metal service reach East Coast customers with one-day delivery.
Construction and hiring timelines will be detailed as the company finalizes the site.
