Taco Bell Foundation Gives a Record $32 Million to 700 Nonprofits, Including $100,000 for Fresno County Youth Clubs

The Taco Bell Foundation, based in Irvine, California, announced on October 21 that its Community Grants program will award a record $32 million this year to 700 nonprofits nationwide, a 40 percent increase in nonprofit partners from last year and more than 200 additional organizations, with funding more than double what it was three years ago. The grants support education, career readiness, mentorship and youth empowerment programs.
The money comes largely from customers who choose to round up their Taco Bell orders in restaurants, through the app or online: fans donate an average of 43 cents per round-up, and those contributions added up to more than $51 million raised in 2025 alone. Local franchisees nominate the recipient organizations. National partners include Junior Achievement, City Year and College Advising Corps, while local recipients such as Easterseals DuPage & Fox Valley near Chicago received $20,000.
California is among the beneficiaries: the foundation awarded a $100,000 Community Grant to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Fresno County in the Central Valley, funding education, teen programming and career readiness across eight club sites. Elsewhere, partners in Minneapolis presented a $177,000 grant, and the Boys & Girls Club of San Juan County in Farmington, New Mexico, received $100,000. During this week's Community Grants Celebration Week, foundation employees are also assembling literacy kits with Orange County United Way.
"When you think about how this started, with fans giving a little extra at checkout, it's incredible to see that generosity grow into $32 million for organizations serving young people across the country," said Morgan Tabor, Executive Director of the Taco Bell Foundation. The foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charity that has reached more than 13 million young people and awarded more than $278 million in grants and scholarships since 1992.
