Dutch Parliament and Cyber Security Centre Websites Taken Offline as Precaution Over Critical PHP Flaws

Thursday, October 22, 2026 · World News · GSM News

AMSTERDAM — The websites of the Dutch House of Representatives (Tweede Kamer) and the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) were taken offline as a precaution on October 21, after EU cyber agency CERT-EU issued an urgent warning about two critical PHP vulnerabilities; the NCSC took its own site down as well. Also affected were football club Fortuna Sittard, police union ACP, pharmacists' association KNMP, transport operator EBS, and parts of the shared IT network serving universities and research institutions. Emergency updates were released later that day, with restoration expected to take hours or longer.
