Wyoming Congressional Delegation Endorses Secretary of State Chuck Gray for U.S. House in Joint Video

Wyoming's three members of Congress, U.S. Sens. John Barrasso and Cynthia Lummis and U.S. Rep. Harriet Hageman, appeared in a joint video on October 22 endorsing Secretary of State Chuck Gray for the state's lone U.S. House seat. In the same video, the delegation also endorsed state Sen. Eric Barlow for governor.

In the video, Lummis and Hageman urged voters to vote Republican up and down the ballot in the general election. Barrasso praised Gray's work as secretary of state: "He'll take the fight right to the halls of Congress. He'll make sure our borders stay secure. He'll go after the fraud that we've seen in California and Minnesota, and he's going to make sure our constitutional rights remain protected." Gray issued a statement thanking the three lawmakers for their endorsements. Hageman is herself running for the U.S. Senate seat held by Lummis, who is retiring.

Gray won a crowded nine-person Republican primary with just over 25 percent of the vote. On November 3 he faces Democrat Lisa Kinney, Constitution Party candidate Jeff Haggit and Libertarian Shawn Johnson. Gray received President Donald Trump's complete and total endorsement earlier this month. Wyoming has not elected a Democrat to the U.S. House since 1976, and early and absentee voting is under way in the state.
