Two Arrested at Tyler, Texas Massage Parlor on Continuous Trafficking Charges; Bond Set at $1.5 Million Each
The Smith County Sheriff's Office in Texas said deputies served a search and arrest warrant on October 16 at T Spa, a massage parlor on State Highway 31 West in Tyler, arresting two 41-year-old men, Lingfeng Wu and Chunfeng Zhang.
Each man faces three charges: continuous trafficking of persons, a first-degree felony with bond set at $600,000; aggravated promotion of prostitution, a first-degree felony with bond at $600,000; and online promotion of prostitution, a third-degree felony with bond at $300,000 — a combined $1.5 million in bond for each defendant.
The warrants were signed by Judge Debbie Gunter of the 7th Judicial District. The sheriff's office said the investigation is ongoing.
