The City of Rancho Cucamonga, in San Bernardino County, California, will hold its annual Spooktacular Halloween event on Saturday, October 24, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the RC Sports Center, 8303 Rochester Ave. The city says the event is for the whole family, costumes are encouraged, and the trunk-or-treat experience, with candy and Halloween activities, is free.

A separate Fun Zone will be open during the event. A $10 wristband provides access to the Fun Zone, crafts, and the Silent Disco. Wristbands are on sale now at the RC Sports Center, Monday through Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and at Central Park, 11200 Base Line Rd., Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; they will also be sold on site beginning at 5:00 p.m. on the day of the event. Parking is available at the Epicenter Sports Complex, 8408 Rochester Ave., across the street from the RC Sports Center, and is free. The city advises that some activities feature flashing lights, strobe effects, and artificial fog that may affect people with photosensitivity or respiratory sensitivities.

The Fun Zone wristband covers carnival games, bounce houses, Halloween crafts, a pumpkin patch and the Silent Disco; food stalls will be on site, and families are encouraged to come in costume.
