LeBron James to Make His Philadelphia Home Debut Against Former Team Cleveland on October 22

The NBA regular season features a marquee matchup on Thursday night, October 22, as the Philadelphia 76ers host the Cleveland Cavaliers at Xfinity Mobile Arena, tipping off at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN. It is LeBron James's home debut for Philadelphia, against the Cavaliers, the franchise he played for over 11 seasons and led to the 2016 championship.
Philadelphia opened its season on October 20 with a 106-100 road win over the New York Knicks: Tyrese Maxey scored 28 points, James had 14 points, nine rebounds and seven assists, and Joel Embiid added 13 points and 11 rebounds. Jaylen Brown led New York with 19 points, eight rebounds and six assists.
James, 41, is playing in a record 24th NBA season. After eight seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers, he signed a two-year deal with Philadelphia this summer. The game is Cleveland's season opener; Cavaliers guard Sam Merrill is a game-time decision. Tickets for the game were listed from $237.
