[Video] Netflix Releases the Official Trailer for "Avedon," Ron Howard's Portrait of Richard Avedon, Streaming November 11
Netflix released the official trailer for the documentary "Avedon" on October 21 (see the video in this story, from Netflix's official channel). Directed by Ron Howard, the film traces the life and work of Richard Avedon (1923-2004), the American fashion and portrait photographer renowned for capturing his subjects' character against stark white backgrounds.
The film premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in 2026 and went on to screen at Telluride; it begins streaming on Netflix on November 11. Producers include Brian Grazer, Ron Howard, Dallas Brennan Rexer, Sara Bernstein, Christopher St. John and Justin Wilkes. The film is produced by Imagine Documentaries and Fifth Season in association with the Richard Avedon Foundation.
