Agentic Commerce & RWA Forum Set for Oct. 25 in Vienna, Virginia

Thursday, October 22, 2026 · Events · GSM News

Vienna, a town in Fairfax County, Virginia, in the Washington metropolitan area, will host a forum titled "Agentic Commerce & RWA in the AI Era" on Sunday, October 25, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. local time. Part of the SI Leadership Series presented by IATRI and Washon MedData, the in-person interactive forum will be held at 8229 Boone Blvd, Vienna, VA 22182, in Tysons Corner, with simultaneous access via Zoom for registered attendees.

Built around the question "When AI starts to transact, who signs?", the forum looks at the trust layer both agentic commerce and real-world assets (RWA) still lack: SI agents can now discover, negotiate, pay and settle on their own, and tokenized real-world assets are following, yet the infrastructure for authorization, verification and accountability remains to be built. Seven key topics are on the agenda: from advice to transactions; the protocol stack (how x402, AP2, MPP and ACP divide checkout, authorization and settlement); RWA as the asset layer for agents, led by tokenized Treasuries and private credit; the trust layer (who authorized the agent, whether it stayed within its mandate, and where the evidence is); mandates and liability; quantum-safe trust and why long-lived RWA needs post-quantum cryptography from day one; and what institutions and builders should do in the next 12 months.

The program runs: registration and networking at 10:00 a.m.; welcome remarks and introduction at 10:10; Act I, The Agentic Commerce Breakout, at 10:15; Act II, RWA: The Asset Layer for Agents, at 10:40; Act III, The Trust Layer, at 11:05; a lightning round and audience Q&A at 11:25; and a group photo with open networking at 11:40.

Featured speakers are James Bo, founder and president of IATRI and CEO of Washon MedData, who also serves as vice chairman of Veritas Collegiate Academy; and Paul Liu, founder of PQC Public Blockchain and Staidos AI Technology, who leads Act III with a panel. Co-organizers include Washon AI, EduOnAI, BrandHiveai, click2hireai, Washon Art, Veritas Collegiate Academy, CAPA-NoVA and SynAgentics.

The forum is aimed at business leaders and executives, SI, blockchain and fintech professionals, investors, researchers and students. Seats are limited and advance registration is required: pre-registration is free, while on-site registration is $20. Confirmations and the Zoom meeting link will be sent by email.
