The City of Azusa, in Los Angeles County, California, will host a movie night in its downtown on Thursday, Oct. 29, with a free outdoor screening of the 1984 fantasy-comedy classic 'Gremlins.' The event starts at 5 p.m. at 609 Community Space, 609 N. Azusa Ave, Azusa, CA 91702, under the stars.
The event is co-hosted by the City of Azusa and the Azusa Chamber of Commerce. According to the city's event page, there will be a themed photo spot, and attendees may bring their own lawn chairs. Directed by Joe Dante and written by Chris Columbus, 'Gremlins' tells the story of a small-town teenager who accidentally unleashes a crew of mischievous creatures, and it has become a Halloween-season staple.
