Season 1 of the Canadian hockey drama Heated Rivalry is heading to the big screen for the first time. Regal, in partnership with Sphere Abacus, announced that all six episodes will screen in more than 650 theaters across the United States from November 6 to 30, 2026, including Regal, AMC and Cinemark locations. The season will be shown as three paired screenings of two episodes each, priced at $9.99 per screening.

Created by Jacob Tierney and based on Rachel Reid's Game Changers book series, the series follows rival professional hockey players Shane Hollander, played by Hudson Williams, and Ilya Rozanov, played by Connor Storrie. It premiered in November 2025 on Crave in Canada and HBO Max in the United States, and the theatrical run comes nearly a year after that premiere. Regal screenings will include exclusive welcome content from the cast and directors, and select locations will offer themed cocktails.

Brooks LeBoeuf, Senior Vice President of U.S. Content at Regal, said that when a series connects with audiences the way Heated Rivalry has, the exhibitor looks for ways to bring it to the big screen and give fans a reason to experience it together ahead of Season 2, which arrives in 2027. Hana Palmer, Executive Director of Global Distribution and Partnerships at Sphere Abacus, said the screenings will also reach theaters in the U.K., Australia and New Zealand.
