Peacock Posts Second Straight Profitable Quarter: Comcast Q3 Shows $261 Million in Adjusted EBITDA
Comcast reported third-quarter 2026 results on October 22, 2026, with its streaming service Peacock delivering its second consecutive profitable quarter. Peacock generated $261 million in adjusted EBITDA, a $478 million improvement from a $217 million loss in the same quarter a year earlier.
Peacock revenue was about $1.8 billion in the quarter, and paid subscribers rose 17% year over year to 48 million, unchanged from the prior quarter. Comcast's Media segment revenue increased 13% to $5.36 billion, including about $224 million in incremental revenue from the FIFA World Cup.
At the group level, Comcast's consolidated revenue was $29.3 billion, down 6.1% on a reported basis and roughly flat on a pro forma basis reflecting the Versant separation and the sale of Sky's German operations. Adjusted earnings per share were $1.07. Comcast lost 144,000 domestic broadband customers in the quarter and added 368,000 wireless lines.
