Nevada: Insurance Division Alerts Kaiser Senior Care Plus Members to December Network Changes

The Nevada Division of Insurance announced on October 20 that the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has notified members of Kaiser Permanente Nevada's Senior Care Plus plan (formerly Hometown Health, contract H2960) that network changes will take effect December 13, 2026.
Affected members are in Carson City, Storey County and Washoe County. The Division said affected members will receive a Special Election Period to change plans, along with Medigap guaranteed-issue rights; the election period ends two calendar months after the month of notification.
Insurance Commissioner Ned Gaines has asked CMS to review the network changes. Governor Joe Lombardo urged members who receive the notice to review it carefully and act promptly so their care is not interrupted.
