Texas: Registered Voters Hit Record 19.04 Million; Early Voting Runs Through October 30
Texas Secretary of State Robert S. Howden announced on October 20 that the state has a record 19,041,684 registered voters, up 2.2% from the November 2024 general election and 2% from the March 2026 primary.
Early voting for the November 3 general election runs from October 19 through October 30. The Secretary of State's office said voters may cast a ballot at any polling location in their county of registration, and photo identification is required.
Voters can check polling places and sample ballots at the official VoteTexas.gov website or call 1-800-252-VOTE. The office encouraged voters to plan ahead to avoid Election Day lines.
