Wyoming: Governor's Orders Ease Fuel Hauling Rules Through December 16

Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon announced on October 8 that he has signed executive orders easing transportation restrictions to allow additional fuel deliveries within Wyoming and from neighboring states, amid high diesel prices.

Gordon said the action builds on President Trump's October 5 federal executive order providing relief for highway use of dyed diesel. The governor's order is effective through December 16. He noted that only the state Legislature can waive state fuel taxes or penalties or provide refunds.
Gordon also signed Executive Order 2026-008, extending emergency relief permits for oversize and overweight loads of livestock feed and livestock until November 6. The governor's office said the measures are intended to help agriculture and trucking through the harvest season's fuel costs.
