Olympic Ice Dancers Zingas and Kolesnik Visit Salt Lake City, Site of the 2026 U.S. Championships

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah — In Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah, 2026 Olympic team members and 2026 U.S. ice dance silver medalists Emilea Zingas and Vadym Kolesnik visited the city this week, U.S. Figure Skating announced on October 22. Their itinerary included taping a segment for FOX 13's Good Day Utah, and a photo of the two at the studio drew wide shares. Zingas and Kolesnik placed fourth in the team event, fifth in ice dance and sixth in the free dance at the 2026 Winter Olympics, and took silver at the 2026 U.S. Championships as their rhythm dance broke a record. Salt Lake City hosts the 2026 U.S. Figure Skating Championships at the Delta Center — the last national selection event before the Milan Olympics — and, as a 2034 Winter Olympics host city, remains a center of American winter sports. The pair's visit adds a media stop on their nationals-season ramp-up.
