Russia and Ukraine Swap 270 Prisoners of War Each, Russian Defense Ministry Says

MOSCOW — Russia's state news agency, citing the Russian Defense Ministry, said on October 23 that Russia and Ukraine had each exchanged 270 prisoners of war. Reuters relayed the report.
According to the Russian side, the freed Russian servicemen received psychological and medical assistance in Belarus before being returned to Russia. The two sides have carried out multiple prisoner exchanges since the full-scale war began.
It should be noted that the announcement so far comes solely from Russian official channels; Ukraine has not yet commented. Reuters flagged the Russian official sourcing in its report.
