Diamond Bar Weekly Briefing: Restaurant Week Runs Through Oct. 25, Final Measure Q Session Set for Oct. 28

The City of Diamond Bar, in Los Angeles County, California, has issued its weekly municipal briefing, covering Restaurant Week, a final Measure Q information session and two free services.
The 10th annual Diamond Bar Restaurant Week runs October 19–25, with every restaurant in the city automatically participating. Diners can earn 20% back in rewards on purchases through the OpenRewards app. The promotion is part of the city's "Keep it Local: Shop Diamond Bar First" initiative.
Measure Q, a proposed 1% local sales tax on the November 3 ballot, will be the subject of a final virtual information session on October 28, following a series of in-person presentations at City Hall.
Ahead of the rainy season, free sandbags are available for residents at fire stations across the city.
On October 28, the city will also offer a free catalytic converter etching event, engraving identification codes on vehicle catalytic converters to deter theft.
