'The Gentlemen' Begins Production on Season 3: Elijah Wood and Orlando Bloom Join the Cast in a 'Lord of the Rings' Reunion
Netflix has announced that production is underway in the United Kingdom and Morocco on season three of Guy Ritchie's crime comedy-drama 'The Gentlemen,' with Elijah Wood, Orlando Bloom and Robert Carlyle joining the guest cast alongside Dexter Fletcher, Saffron Burrows, Bruna Marquezine, Ed Speleers and Bugzy Malone.
Wood and Bloom played Frodo and Legolas in 'The Lord of the Rings' trilogy, and the series will mark their first on-screen reunion since 'The Return of the King' concluded the trilogy in 2003, according to reports. Theo James returns as Eddie and Kaya Scodelario as Susie, with Ray Winstone, Joely Richardson and Vinnie Jones also back.
In season three, Eddie and Susie embark on their most audacious project yet: building a casino in the Middle East. The show's second season was released this September. No premiere date for season three has been announced.
