Paramount+ Originals Chief Jane Wiseman Exits as Skydance Reorganizes Streaming Under HBO Leadership

Paramount+ executive vice president and head of originals Jane Wiseman is leaving the streaming service, and her team will report going forward to HBO Max originals chief Sarah Aubrey, according to The Hollywood Reporter and other industry outlets.
Wiseman joined Paramount+ in August 2025 and served about 14 months. Her exit follows that of her former boss, Paramount chair of direct-to-consumer Cindy Holland, and both departures come after Skydance completed its acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery to form the combined company.
The merged streaming operation is led by Casey Bloys, who has run HBO and HBO Max. In a Friday memo to staff, Bloys unveiled a structure in which Paramount+ and HBO Max operate under one leadership team that also includes drama head Francesca Orsi, comedy head Amy Gravitt, president and COO Glenn Whitehead, and HBO executives Nina Rosenstein, Nancy Abraham and Lisa Heller; Jeff Cusson will serve as head of communications for Skydance's direct-to-consumer business.
Bloys said in the memo that running two streaming platforms with original programming will require great collaboration and a team mentality. Wiseman previously spent about a decade at Netflix as a vice president of original series, working on titles including 'Ozark' and 'Narcos,' and later held roles at Prime Video and Sister.
