Salt Lake City Payments Firm Verisave Names Chris Lefebvre Chief Executive Officer

Salt Lake City — Verisave, a provider of payments optimization solutions, announced on October 22 the appointment of Chris Lefebvre as chief executive officer, effective October 1, 2026. Lefebvre joins from fintech giant Fiserv and brings more than 30 years of executive leadership across payments, financial services and technology: he led financial services for a major retailer and served on the card networks' merchant advisory board; as chief operating officer of BankServ he led the company's national expansion and successful exit; he later held C-suite roles at e-commerce sales and marketing companies and founded CRC, a consulting firm serving regulated industries including healthcare and energy. Most recently at Fiserv, he was global head of relationship management for grocery, petroleum and technology clients.
Founder Jeremy Layton transitions to founder and chief commercial officer to ensure strategic continuity. Layton said Lefebvre brings deep payments expertise and a track record of building product solutions around client needs. Lefebvre said Verisave has built "something rare: a trusted platform," and that the company will accelerate growth by deepening its core solutions and expanding its reach across the financial ecosystem. Headquartered in Salt Lake City and backed by Ceto Capital, Verisave specializes in merchant account, payments stack and interchange fee optimization.
