Idaho: Micron Leases Over 406,000 Square Feet Across Two Boise Industrial Buildings

Micron Technology, the Boise, Idaho-headquartered memory and storage chipmaker, has leased 406,436 square feet of industrial space across two adjacent buildings at High West Business Park, at 1201 and 1409 W. Gowen Road in Boise, according to an October 22 report by commercial real estate firm CoStar.
Micron is one of the world's leading makers of memory and storage chips and one of Idaho's largest technology employers. The large industrial lease is seen as part of the company's expanding operational footprint in its hometown as it builds out its U.S. production capacity. Financial terms of the lease were not disclosed.
Boise is Idaho's capital and largest city. Micron was founded there in 1978, and its headquarters and major research facilities have long been based in the city. The state has identified semiconductors and advanced manufacturing as priority industries.
CoStar's report did not disclose the planned use or occupancy timeline for the two buildings, and Micron has not issued a separate statement on the lease.
