Destiny's Child Trio Reunites in the Crowd at Jay-Z's Los Angeles Anniversary Show
Destiny's Child members Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams were spotted together in the crowd at Jay-Z's 30th anniversary concert at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on Friday night, October 23, smiling and dancing together in a moment that set off a wave of nostalgia among fans. According to USA Today, the show — the second-to-last stop of the “Jay-Z 30” stadium series — began at about 9:25 p.m. The series marks the 30th anniversary of his 1996 debut album “Reasonable Doubt” and, this year, the 25th anniversary of his sixth album, “The Blueprint.”
Guests who performed included John Legend, DJ Khaled and Scarface, and Jay-Z and Beyoncé's 14-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, also made an appearance; Rihanna attended in support. The Destiny's Child trio did not perform; their last on-stage reunion came in 2025 at the Los Angeles finale of Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter tour.
The anniversary series opened this summer with three hometown shows in New York, followed by two shows in London and a September date in Paris; the HBO docuseries “Jay-Z in 8” also premiered in September. The final show of the series is set for October 24 at SoFi Stadium.
