The Edward-Dean Museum & Gardens in Cherry Valley, Riverside County, California, reopened to the public on Saturday, October 24, after a renovation lasting about a year, with a grand reopening celebration scheduled for 5 p.m. in the main building at 9401 Oak Glen Road. According to the Riverside County Office of Economic Development, work on the 16-acre county-owned property began in mid-September 2025 and was completed earlier this month.

The project included new flooring, expanded restrooms and kitchen space, a new addition called the Kay Plaza, upgraded lighting and fresh paint. Landscaping was also improved, and all features now comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act, according to the Office of Economic Development. The cost of the renovation and expansion was not immediately available.

Supervisor Yxstian Gutierrez, whose Fifth District includes the museum, said in a statement: "Arts and culture bring people together and help define a community's identity. I'm thrilled to welcome residents back to the Edward-Dean Museum & Gardens to enjoy its art, history and beautifully refreshed grounds."
