Jaguar Land Rover Recalls About 94,000 Range Rovers in the U.S. Over Rearview Camera Failures

Jaguar Land Rover will recall 93,997 vehicles in the United States because the rearview camera image may fail to appear on the display, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) said on Friday, October 23. (GSM, reporting from Reuters)
According to NHTSA, insufficient drain holes may trap water in the rearview camera and damage it, so the image may not appear when reversing. The recall affects certain 2022-2026 Land Rover Range Rover vehicles.
Dealers will drill additional drain holes in the underside of the tailgate trim and replace the camera if needed, NHTSA said. Owners should watch for recall notices from the manufacturer and confirm with a dealer whether their vehicle is included.
