White House Posts "Take a Look at France": 44-Second Video Shows Paris Protest Scenes
WASHINGTON — The White House posted a 44-second short video titled "Take a Look at France" on its website and official YouTube channel on October 23. White House records show the video was published on the afternoon of October 23, U.S. Eastern Time.
The vertical video's cover frame shows crowds gathered around the Republic Monument at Place de la République in Paris, with people climbing onto the monument's base: scenes from the protests that have continued across France in recent days.
GSM has been covering the French protest wave and the president's public comments on the situation in France in separate reports.
