LA Phil Home Alone in Concert: Nov 27-28 at Walt Disney Concert Hall, David Newman Conducts
The Los Angeles Philharmonic (LA Phil) has announced a holiday-season film concert: Home Alone in Concert will screen the full film with John Williams' score performed live by the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra under conductor David Newman on November 27-28 at Walt Disney Concert Hall in downtown Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California.
There are two performances: Friday, November 27 at 8 p.m. and Saturday, November 28 at 2 p.m. The venue is at 111 S Grand Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90012, and the LA Phil suggests arriving at least one hour before the start time.
Home Alone, the 1990 Christmas family comedy starring Macaulay Culkin as 8-year-old Kevin McCallister, who is accidentally left home alone and must defend his house against two burglars, features one of John Williams' best-known scores. The concert is part of the LA Phil's Deck the Hall holiday series, which also includes Elf in Concert on November 28-29 conducted by composer John Debney.
This is a ticketed performance, with tickets sold through official LA Phil channels.
