Peru's Credicorp Enters Third-Quarter Earnings Quiet Period from October 26, Ending November 9

From October 26, Credicorp, Peru's largest financial services holding company, enters its quiet period for the 2026 third-quarter results, which will last until the results are released on November 9. According to the company's announcement issued in Lima on October 19, during the quiet period the company will not disclose any financial information, comment on financial performance or respond to related enquiries, in order to ensure information is released fairly and in an orderly manner. This is a standard practice for listed companies ahead of results releases, intended to prevent selective disclosure so that all investors receive the same information at the same time. Credicorp is listed on both the New York Stock Exchange and the Lima Stock Exchange, with operations spanning universal banking, inclusive finance, insurance and pension funds, and investment management and advisory services; its subsidiaries include Banco de Crédito del Perú, Mibanco, Pacífico Seguros and Prima AFP, and its business also extends to Chile, Colombia, Bolivia and Panama. Third-quarter results are an important window for investors to judge Peruvian banks' credit quality, net interest margins and consumer credit demand, especially against the current backdrop of divergence in Latin American economies; the market will watch changes in Peru's domestic loan growth and non-performing loan ratios. The start of a quiet period itself signals nothing about whether results will be good or bad; investors should wait until the results are formally released on November 9 and judge them together with management's conference call.
