The internet insurance sector performed strongly, with Baige Online up 30.42%. The oil stocks sector strengthened, with China Oilfield Services up 7.16%, PetroChina up 4.11% and China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation up 3.7%. On the downside, the optical communications sector weakened, with Junzhi Group down 10.56%, Lens Technology down 7.63% and Cambridge Industries Group down 6.74%. Printed circuit board concepts adjusted, with Kinwong Electronic down 8.88%, Guanghe Technology down 5.25% and Xinqi Micro-Assembly down 4.76%. Most technology and internet stocks fell, with Hua Hong Semiconductor down 4.82%, Lenovo Group down 3.80%, XPeng down 3.39% and CMGE down 2.82%. Overall, the Hong Kong market showed structural divergence in the morning session: some small- and mid-cap concept stocks and traditional energy stocks strengthened, while technology and optical communications sectors came under pressure. The afternoon trend will still depend on capital flows and external market changes, and investors should also be mindful of volatility risk when chasing hot concept stocks.
