San Diego International Food & Music Festival's Sunday Session on October 25: 50-Plus Stalls at Embarcadero Marina Park Welcome a Day of the Dead Theme Day

Monday, October 26, 2026 · Entertainment · GSM News

On October 25, the San Diego International Food & Music Festival entered its second day at Embarcadero Marina Park North on the downtown waterfront, with free admission. The two-day waterfront food festival turned the park into a global street-food corridor, with more than fifty international food stalls lined up in a row — from street snacks to fusion dishes, visitors could taste flavors from many countries without leaving the lawn; there were also a beer garden, a car show, carnival rides, and handicrafts from more than fifty retail and cultural vendors. Saturday's program leaned toward Halloween, while Sunday turned to a Day of the Dead theme, with live bands, DJs and cultural performances all day, and costumes encouraged. For San Diego families it was a place to spend a Sunday by the bay: children on the rides, adults strolling and snacking along the waterfront, with the evening sunset and the downtown skyline as a free backdrop. The organizer sited the event at a downtown waterfront park reachable by trolley plus a short walk; weekend driving and parking are tight, so public transit is the easier option.
