Tampa Holds 'Art on Tap' on October 25: Local Artists Paint Live to Celebrate National Arts Day

Tampa Bay's "Art on Tap" event took place on October 25 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Coppertail Brewing Co., 2601 East Second Avenue, free and open to all ages. Held to celebrate National Arts Day, the event gathered local Tampa Bay artists, and visitors could watch them paint live, buy original works, and enjoy the brewery's food and local craft beer. The organizer said it was a chance to meet artists, watch works come into being and support the local creative community, in a relaxed atmosphere suited to a family Sunday afternoon. Unlike Tampa's other large events that day, this one was small in scale and focused on participation, with no ticket needed to enter. For art lovers in Tampa Bay, it was both a close-up encounter with local creators and a practical way to support community art. The event ended at 5 p.m. that afternoon at the brewery district east of downtown Tampa.
