In Las Vegas, Clark County, Nevada, Las Vegas Raiders head coach Klint Kubiak said on Monday, October 26, that Kirk Cousins remains the team's starting quarterback: "Kirk is our starting quarterback. There's no controversy. Kirk is our guy."
Cousins has thrown 16 touchdown passes this season, most in the league, and his 1,877 passing yards rank third. In Sunday's 35-21 loss to the Los Angeles Rams, he completed 26 of 44 passes for 295 yards and two touchdowns. Kubiak said top pick Mendoza will play at some point but gave no timetable; the Raiders next face the New York Jets.
