Ameriprise Matches Feeding America Donations for 15th Straight Year: Up to $250,000 Through Oct. 31, Each $1 Helps Provide 20 Meals

Ameriprise Financial, Inc. (NYSE: AMP) is matching public donations to the nonprofit Feeding America for the 15th consecutive year: gifts made through October 31 will be matched up to a total of $250,000, in a campaign expected to help provide 5 million meals, with each dollar donated during the match helping provide 20 meals. Feeding America is a nationwide hunger-relief network.
According to the company's announcement via Business Wire, nearly 48 million people in the United States, including more than 14 million children, experience food insecurity. Members of the public can give online at feedingamerica.org/ameriprise. Ameriprise said it has committed $250,000 to Feeding America to double the impact of gifts received between September 1, 2026, and October 31, 2026; gifts received after the campaign or in excess of that amount will not be matched but will still help provide food for people in need. Feeding America currently counts $1 as helping provide at least 10 meals through local partner food banks, so the match doubles that figure to 20 meals.
"Hunger remains a significant challenge in communities across the country, but we can all work together to help our neighbors," said Jennifer Jones, Vice President of Community Relations at Ameriprise Financial. "Ameriprise has a longstanding commitment to hunger relief, and we're proud to partner with Feeding America to help address food insecurity and support people facing hunger. We encourage others to join us in making a meaningful difference."
"We are grateful for longstanding partners like Ameriprise who have stayed committed to our shared vision of a hunger-free America," said Elizabeth Pettengill, Interim Vice President, Corporate and Foundation Partnerships at Feeding America. "Ending hunger takes all of us, especially now when families are feeling the pressure of rising food costs and tight budgets. Ameriprise's match campaign has been — and continues to be — part of a critical and collective effort in ensuring neighbors facing hunger have access to the food they need to thrive."
Ameriprise established its partnership with Feeding America in 2009. Since then, the company said, its advisors, employees and clients have helped provide more than 153 million meals and volunteered nearly 420,000 hours to support Feeding America and other hunger-relief organizations nationwide; the matching campaign itself was established in 2010 to encourage additional donations. In addition to the match, Ameriprise and Feeding America will hold their 17th annual National Day of Service on November 5, 2026, bringing together thousands of Ameriprise employees, advisors and clients ahead of the holiday season to help people facing food insecurity.
Based in Minneapolis, Ameriprise Financial has served clients for more than 130 years and has a nationwide network of more than 10,000 financial advisors. The company said it supports more than 8,000 nonprofits globally through grants, volunteerism and employee and advisor gift-matching programs, and was recently recognized by Newsweek as one of America's Most Charitable Companies; its employees are eligible for eight hours of paid volunteer time each year, and in 2025 Ameriprise volunteers contributed more than 50,000 hours to nonprofits across the country.
