At 11 a.m. on Monday, November 9, 2026, the City of Beverly Hills will unveil 10 monumental sculptures by internationally acclaimed American superrealist sculptor Carole A. Feuerman at 332 N Rodeo Drive. The exhibition, "Carole Feuerman: Monuments of Stillness," is her first major public outdoor exhibition on the West Coast and will remain on view during 2027.

The exhibition is presented by the City of Beverly Hills and Mayor Craig Corman and Melissa Morgan Fine Art, with special thanks to the Rodeo Drive Committee. The unveiling will include remarks by Mayor Corman, Feuerman and Melissa Morgan Fine Art, a photo opportunity and an artist-led walkthrough.

That same day, an invitation-only sneak preview of "Chasing Jupiter," a documentary about Feuerman's life, will screen at the Fine Arts Theatre, 8556 Wilshire Blvd, with media invited.

Feuerman, 81, is a pioneer of superrealism whose career spans five decades. Her work has been exhibited at the Venice Biennale and the Beijing Biennale. Her 2025 retrospective, "The Voice of the Body," was presented at Palazzo Bonaparte in Rome, while "Reborn into the Water" at the Heydar Aliyev Center in Baku has been extended through January 2028.

In May 2026, Feuerman received the International Sculpture Center Lifetime Achievement Award, and Rizzoli is publishing the monograph "Carole Feuerman: Superrealist Sculptures" in 2026. Her earlier public exhibitions appeared on Park Avenue and at the Seaport in New York and on Chicago's Magnificent Mile in 2026. The signature work shown in the release is "Survival of Serena" (2020), a swimmer figure.

Corman said Beverly Hills is proud to welcome the sculptures to Rodeo Drive, calling it an extraordinary opportunity to experience contemporary art in an iconic public space. Feuerman said public sculpture becomes part of a city's daily life and meets people where they are, adding, "Realism is my language, but it has never been my destination."
