LA Phil November 6-8: Daniel Harding and Leif Ove Andsnes Play Brahms at Walt Disney Concert Hall
The Los Angeles Philharmonic presents three concerts at Walt Disney Concert Hall on November 6-8, 2026, led by incoming Music Director Daniel Harding with Norwegian pianist Leif Ove Andsnes as soloist in Brahms's Piano Concerto No. 2. It is Harding's first Walt Disney Concert Hall program of 2026; he takes over as the orchestra's Music Director from the 2027/28 season.
Performances: Friday, November 6, 2026 at 8:00 PM; Saturday, November 7 at 8:00 PM; and Sunday, November 8 at 2:00 PM. Venue: Walt Disney Concert Hall, 111 S Grand Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90012, in downtown Los Angeles.
The program pairs the Brahms concerto (about 46 minutes) with Betsy Jolas's Latest (about 15 minutes), a jazz-infused work by the French composer who turns 100 in 2026, and Bernstein's Symphony No. 1, "Jeremiah" (about 25 minutes). The Friday, November 6 performance is a shorter Casual Fridays format program, so its lineup differs slightly from the weekend concerts; check the official event page when booking.
Tickets (this is a ticketed event) are sold through the LA Phil's official box office on the event page at laphil.com, where Create Your Own packages bundling three or more concerts are also available. Prices are shown live on the official ticketing page.
