Visa Reports Fiscal Fourth-Quarter 2026 Results: Net Revenue Up 13% to $12.1 Billion, Net Income $6.0 Billion as Payments Volume Rises 9%

Visa, the world's largest payment processor, reported results for its fiscal fourth quarter ended September 30, 2026, after the U.S. market close on October 27, according to Reuters. Quarterly net revenue was $12.1 billion, up 13% from a year earlier, while net income rose to $6.0 billion, or $3.19 per share, compared with $5.1 billion, or $2.62 per share, in the same quarter a year ago.
Payments volume, a gauge of consumer and business spending on Visa's network, jumped 9% in the quarter. Reuters noted that U.S. consumer spending has remained resilient in the face of persistent inflationary pressures, underpinned by a strong labor market and wage growth, and that the FIFA World Cup, held in the United States from June 11 to July 19, also helped boost activity across Visa's network as it brought many visitors to the country.
Visa had previously announced that management would discuss the results on a webcast at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time on October 27. The quarter closes out Visa's fiscal 2026, with full-year results released together with the quarterly report.
